You might be wondering "why Lisbon?" - well this is where we went on our first weekend-trip together shortly after we met and we wanted to come back here, this time with all our loved ones, to start the next exciting chapter of our lives together. Join us for Welcome Drinks & Nibbles in the Library Room and Sunset Terrace of Dolce Campo Real Hotel from 18.30-22.30.

The Wedding Day
Ceremony
Our wedding ceremony will take place at Casa Sacoto and we kindly ask you to arrive at the venue at 2.30pm where you will be welcomed by our families & bridal party.
Please note that we wish to have an unplugged ceremony and kindly ask you to turn off all phones & cameras to be fully present with us.
Reception
Good news! We will not only gather for the ceremony at Casa Sacoto but we will spend the rest of the day here - so no need to worry about where to go next!
Weather permitting, we will spend all of our day outside until it is time to dance.

Carriages will be at 1am. More information about taxis can be found below.
Taxis
*Important - there are works in progress around Sacoto’s road, so it is likely that the journey takes a bit longer than normal, approx. 30-35mins
For guests of Hotel Campo Real:

Due to the remote location taxis need to be pre-booked at the hotel reception on Monday.

The journey from the hotel to Casa Sacoto will be around 30-35minutes.

Please note: we organised a night shuttle doing round trips between Sacoto & Hotel Campo Real from 10 pm until 01 am.

Dresscode
Please honour the formal dress code - suits & ties for men, evening dresses & formal cocktail dresses for women. Our Bridesmaids will be wearing light pink/blush dresses.

Travel
The closest airport is Lisbon (LIS) - from there you are ca.30 min. away from our wedding venue located in Carmoes. We recommend staying in the surrounding area instead of Central Lisbon to reduce travel time. All travelling from outside the EU, please remember to bring EU adapters to charge your devices.
Accommodation
Together with our families and bridal party, we will stay at Dolce Campo Real Hotel. We have a discount code for bookings between 21-27 September. Alternatively, you are welcome to find your own accommodation in the area.
Transfers & Parking
On the wedding day, please pre-book a taxi to Casa Sacoto for 2.00pm latest.
It is best to book the taxi in advance as this is a rural area and waiting times are to be expected. Please review the info above for further guidance on taxis.
Weather
The weather in Lisbon around this time of the year will be warm with an average temperature of 26 degrees. However, there is a chance that it could be windy during the day and chilly in the evening.
Children
To allow all wedding guests, including those who are parents, a night to let their hair down, we respectfully ask that this is an adults only event with the exception of Miles' niece.
A note on Gifts
Your presence at our wedding including travelling and taking the time off to be with us and celebrate our love in Portugal, is the greatest gift and more than we could ask for. Should you wish to give a gift as well, we gratefully accept a small contribution to our honeymoon fund.
